DESCRIPCIÓN: Aprender las nociones básicas de seguridad y procedimientos operativos para operar en entornos urbanos y realizar una intervención.

 

REQUISITOS PREVIOS: Licencia en vigor. Ser capaz de manejar el arma con seguridad. Se realizará una preselección del personal. Recomendado: Haber realizado el curso Arma corta, Nivel 2.

 

NOCIONES A IMPARTIR:

• Portabilidad del arma corta en desplazamientos y coberturas.

• Prevención del cruce de líneas de fuego entre compañeros.

• Desplazamientos y coberturas en inmuebles: Generalidades.

• Desplazamientos y coberturas en escaleras.

• Desplazamientos y coberturas en casas a 4 vientos.

• Aproximaciones al objetivo sobre casa a 4 vientos.

• Desplazamientos y coberturas en una nave industrial o parking.

- Técnicas de transición pistola-bastón extensible y bastón extensible-pistola.

 

METODOLOGÍA:

 

- FASE TEÓRICA: Aprendizaje de los fundamentos básicos de seguridad y procedimientos operativos para operar en entornos urbanos y realizar una intervención; desplazamientos por diversos tipos de edificios y conceptos de táctica policial.

- FASE PRÁCTICA: Teóricas de campo en conjunción con prácticas de tiro para refuerzo y fijación de conocimientos. Realización de ejercicios en inmuebles bajo condiciones de stress sobre supuestos tácticos, dentro de las necesidades de uso y normativas vigentes, trabajando individualmente, y por binomios.

 

MATERIAL INCLUIDO EN EL CURSO:

• Material docente y Power Points para mejor asimilación de conceptos.

- Diversos tipos de blancos para los ejercicios de tiro.

 

INSTALACIONES:

• Campo de tiro oficial

- Armería, con posibilidad de comprar munición y alquilar el arma (Alquiler y munición no incluidos en el precio).

• Aulas de enseñanza para impartir conceptos teóricos dotadas con pantalla, retroproyector.

- Restaurante (Precio de la comida o bebida no incluido en el precio).

 

MATERIAL ACONSEJADO QUE DEBE APORTAR EL ALUMNO:

• Material para tomar apuntes (Libreta, bolígrafo...).

• Arma corta de 9 mm Parabellum válida para el curso (Posibilidad de alquiler si no dispone de ella).

• Munición de penetración reducida, (mínimo 150 cartuchos). No se permiten puntas AP ni FMJ.

• Cinturón de servicio, con portacargadores y funda de servicio, o similar.

- Recomendado: Equipo táctico, como chaleco portaequipos, chaleco antibalas, casco, comunicaciones, linterna, kit de primeros auxilios, etc.

• Documentación en vigor (Licencia correspondiente).

- Protectores de ojos y oídos.

• Ropa operativa, o cómoda adaptada a las condiciones climatológicas del campo.

- Alimentación especial o medicación para la duración del curso.

DESCRIPTION: The objective of this course is to learn the Urban Operations Safety and Operational Procedures under L&E missions.

 

PREREQUISITES: Current License. Be able to safely handle and fire a handgun. Personnel Pre-selection will be done. Recommended: At least, Handgun, Level 2 course.

 

LEARNING OBJETIVES:

• Movement and use of covers with an exposed Handgun.

• Line-of-Fire crossover Prevention: Blue-on-Blue preventive measures.

• Movements and covers inside a building: General Overview.

• Stairs: Movements and covers.

• Movements and covers inside an isolated building.

• Target approach over an isolated building.

• Movements and covers inside a warehouse or parking.

- Handgun-Baton and Baton-Hangun Transition techniques.

 

METHODOLOGY:

- THEORY PHASE: Learning of L&E Handgun employment fundamentals on Urban Environments and movement inside buildings. Safety tips and L&E Tactics will be covered.

- PRACTICE PHASE: On-the-field theory in conjunction with shooting exercises for reinforce and consolidate the learning. Dry-Fire and Shooting stress drills based on Urban Warfare Rules-of-Engagement, and current L&E procedures for increase the individual skills and awareness when working individually or in pairs, in this particular environment.

 

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL INCLUDED IN THE COURSE:

• Teaching material and Power Points for better assimilation of concepts.

- Various types of targets for shooting drills.

 

FACILITIES:

• Certified Firing Range.

- Gun store, with ammunition sales service, and feasibility to rent a Handgun (Handgun rental, and ammunition price are not included in price).

• Fully equipped classrooms for teaching Theory concepts.

- Restaurant (Meals and beverages are not included in price).

 

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL THE STUDENT SHOULD ARRIVE WITH: 

• Classroom material (Paper, ballpen, notebook...).

• Serviceable Handgun (Feasibility to rent one at the gun store, making the arrangement in advance).

- Ammunition (Minimum 50 cartridges; AP, or FMJ points are not allowed).

• Current Weapon License.

• Duty belt, magazine pouches and tactical holster.

- Recommended: Duty gear, like tactical or armor vest, helmet, comms, flashlight, First Aid Kit, etc.

- Ear, and Eye Protectors.

• Duty Uniform, BDU´s, or convenient attire, adapted to Metheorological Conditions.

- FASE PRÁCTICA: Teóricas de campo en conjunción con prácticas de tiro para refuerzo y fijación de conocimientos. Realización de ejercicios en inmuebles bajo condiciones de stress, y baja luminosidad, sobre supuestos tácticos, dentro de las necesidades de uso y normativas vigentes, trabajando individualmente, por binomios y por equipos.

- Target approach over a vehicle.

- Night Vision Googles: Employment fundamentals.
